                                                                  YTA GOTCHA PAINTBALL WAIVER 

 

 

"YTA Paintball treats the Health and Safety of all participants as a priority. As with any sport/leisure activity there are hazards associated with Gotcha paintball. It is important for the safety of everyone taking part that each participant is acquainted with those hazards and individually takes all relevant action to minimise those hazards as much as possible.

I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that   

 

1. I am aged 8 years or over. or that the minor i am signing for is 8 years or over  

2. There is a risk of injury when playing Gotcha paintball. Including but not limited to bodily injury, strains, fractures, loss of eyesight or hearing, exposure to insect bites, slips, falls, collisions with other people, permeant disability or death. To minimize the risk, we use protective equipment, and personal discipline is required to help minimize the risk. 

3. I  fully understand the risks involved in playing Gotcha paintball  and that this can be caused by my own actions or the actions of others playing or the conditions of the event. 

4. I understand that playing paintball I may get bruises, or my skin may be broken by a fired paintball. They may be rabbit holes, Slippy surfaces, broken trees plus other hazards when playing paintball. I am fully aware of the hazards. 

5. I am fully aware of the risk to myself, and others involved in Gotcha paintball and that I will never under any circumstances deliberately shoot anyone in the face, head, or neck. 

6. I will wear goggles and will not remove them whilst in the playing area. (This includes all areas except the safe area) I understand that I will be removed from site for my own safety if I do not comply with safety procedures. I will comply with the rules and use all equipment as instructed and not to injure or hurt others. 

7. I will not shoot another player or staff member within 5 mts ,  

8. I have no medical condition that would prevent me from playing paintball. (Please make the game manager aware if you use an inhaler or any other medical aid)  

9. If I chose to participate in Gotcha paintball I would do so knowing and freely. I understand that there will be known and unknown, foreseeable, and unforeseeable risk  

10. I fully accept all risks and all responsibility for losses or injury.  

11. I agree to follow the rules of the games, listen any member of Yorkshire tactical activities staff members and to wear the protective equipment provided by Yorkshire Tactical Activities  

12. I will only use pyrotechnics as instructed by the game manager and in accordance with the manufacturers printed instructions on the pyrotechnic. I will endeavour not to throw a pyrotechnic device within 15 metres of another player. Under 18 years old are not allowed Pyrotechnics 

13. I will pay any charges incurred before leaving the site. I acknowledge I will pay and failure to pay will result in a £25 admin charge.

14. I a agree to pay any administration charges, which might occur because of cheques being returned, or credit card payments being declined.  

15. I will only use paintballs supplied by YORKSHIRE TACTICAL ACTIVITIES I have read and fully understood this agreement. If found to be using my own paintballs, I will be asked to leave site with no refund.  

16. I understand that purchases of paintballs are full and final, and no refunds will be given under any circumstances. Please only buy what you think you will need.  

17. The price of paintballs shown is final and will not be reduced under any circumstances.  

18. Any threatening or aggressive behaviour, including intimidation tactics towards any member of staff or other players will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave site without refund. 

19. I consent for mine or any minor I am signing for photograph to be taken for use on social media or marketing purposes. 

20. I understand that cars parked in the car park are at the owners own risk 

21. Parent's, Guardians, or organisers are to sign for players in your charge who are under the age 16. You have understood the safety brief and rules. 

22. I understand and agree that any photos or videos may be taken during the activity. These may be used on social media or other marketing material All photos and videos remain the property of YTA.  

 

I have read and fully understood this agreement. I am aware that by signing this agreement i acknowledge and accept that the inherent risk to injury that Gotcha paintball entails to myself or minor i am signing for. I hereby agree to release Yorkshire tactical activities of any liability for any personal injury, illness, damage to personal property and death.

I hereby release, remise and forever discharge from any claims and liabilities whatsoever without limitation that I might have against Yorkshire tactical activities, the Owners of the property on which the events are being played and any other player who might injure me, damage caused to property and I make this release on behalf of myself, minor i am signing for my heirs, executors and administrators.
